Subject	A/C only blowing out of dash/defrost

Message	Guys I'm new to this site and just purchased a 1993 300zx N/A. Problem is ac will only blow out of defrost. It will not switch over to vents or floor when I try to change on the climate control. Could this be the gate not opening properly to swap over and if so is it manual or electric like a bad actuator. Thanks for the help!!!!
